Erik Swenson Woodworks

I am a woodworker using North West burl woods, which I inlay with semi-precious gemstone and minerals and then polish to such a degree that the work has the appearance of true stone.  With this technique I create both interactive, magnetic sculptures that are fashioned after natural mineral formations, as well as several lines of classic cabochon jewelry, wrapped in sterling silver.  Nearly all the wood I use and much of the stone is either found or re-claimed from other woodworkers.
